I woke up in the most chipper mood!  I can’t tell you how happy it makes me when I look outside and see fresh snow on the ground! 😁  I’m going to head out for a walk soon and do some soul searching hehe.  I think a good morning walk, like an apple, can keep the doctor away.  I am not sure what the rest of the day will look like, most likely will stay around the house because the roads will be bad.  I don’t mind some what of a snow day though, sometimes it’s a nice feeling knowing everyone is staying cozy and safe at home.  I have some laundry I can do, read, and maybe I will bake.

There is a recipe I’ve been wanting to try for a while now.  Pecan pie cookies, I saw it on pintrest http://www.spendwithpennies.com/pecan-pie-cookies/   check it out they look delicious, I’ll let you know how mine go.  Homemade goodies are the perfect gift for friends, family, or host!  You can buy cookie tins at the dollar store, put them in mason jars with a little ribbon, or even in cellophane wrap with a bow.  If you run out of time to make the cookies or treat simply layer the ingredients in your mason jar and attach the recipe!  Homemade jams, or baked nuts and bolts are also great options.

As you know I’ve been trying out that new skin food cream, ànd so far it has been a success!  My hands are healing and I’ve been using it on my face as a night cream as well.  Result= baby bum soft cheeks!  You can buy weleda at any nature food store.  I am slowly working on getting more omega 3 fats nto my diet, besides the easy solution and taking fish oil.  So I decided to see what nutrients pecans offer, and boy are they loaded with all sorts of health benifits!
